Formula E took Portland by storm with the 2023 Southwire Portland E-Prix this past June. Leading up to the event, the UK-based crew engaged Vision Studios to produce three videos highlighting Portland's best tourist attractions and featured our green spaces and government policies fostering a more sustainable future. With three simultaneous units running from Vision Stages to Crown Point, Portland International Raceway to Providence Park, and all over the urban hot spots, producer Dan Eason leaned heavily on local crews to show how we roll in Rip City.
"Portland Discovered" featured Voodoo Doughnuts, the Rose Garden, Pioneer Square, the Freaky But True Peculiarium, Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the Paul Bunyon Statue in Kenton, food carts, and the White Stag sign. Big ups to Jedediah at Rock & Roll Ambulance for keeping the UK crew informed on Portland's rich history as he shuttled us around town.
